Conservation Camp - Kessingland

Just returned from a wonderful weekend of Camping, where every Scout from 1st Marks Tey attended (plus some old friends who are now Explorers).
We spent the weekend erecting bird boxes, bat boxes and insect houses which were all made by the Scouts themselves. The weekend was finished off perfectly by us all watching a pair of blue tits moving into one of the bird boxes. This made it all seem worthwhile.
We also cleaned the beach and spent other times honing our Scouting skills.
A huge thankyou to our Leader team - Adrian, Dennis, Gavin, Heather, Jean, Jo, Mark, Paul and Wendy.
